Sarah (Birley) Rose, 96, of Fredericksburg, TX. (formerly of Assumption) passed away January 31, 2011 at the Windcrest Nursing Home in Fredericksburg, TX.

Graveside service to celebrate Sarah's life will be 9:30 AM Friday February 18, 2011 at Westside Cemetery in Moweaqua. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home in Macon is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com

Sarah was born on November 2, 1914 in Niantic, IL the daughter of James and Sarah Slinn Birley. Sarah married Herbert Rose on June 4, 1938 and he preceded her on June 6, 1992.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and husband Herbert.
